We are seeking skilled, experienced Operating Theatre – Registered Nurse to join our Operating Theatre team. The incumbents must be highly attentive to detail, well organized and capable of working efficiently in a private healthcare setting and working with patients of diverse backgrounds to provide pre/post and during surgical procedure care. The suitable candidate should be able to anticipate/support the surgical professionals through various phases of an operation. VAC. 40/2026 OPERATING THEATRE – REGISTERED NURSE Reporting to the Team Leader Operating Theatre, your primary responsibilities are to: Ensuring patient well-being before, during, and after surgery, including proper positioning, infection prevention, and monitoring. Maintaining aseptic conditions to prevent surgical site infections. Facilitating communication between surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other staff. Ensuring all necessary tools are available, functional, and sterile. Being ready to respond to complications or unexpected events. Keeping accurate records of procedures, patient care, and adherence to protocols. The successful applicant preferably should have the following: Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience as Operating theatre Nurses. Valid annual practicing license and valid Fiji Nursing Council general nurse registration with Competent knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and supplies.
