About the role

Position Number: VBL055 The Opportunity As a member of the Free Access to Law Movement, it is PacLII’s mission to make Pacific law accessible for free online, promoting transparency and strengthening the rule of law throughout the region. The successful candidate will be based in Vanuatu Campus under the Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute (PacLII). Operating within the School of Law and Social Sciences (SoLaSS), PacLII provides a comprehensive and integrated system of public legal information from 20 Pacific Island jurisdictions, that is relied upon by a broad range of stakeholders. The two Senior Editors at PacLII report to the Managing Editor. The Senior Editor - Legislation will be responsible for editorial operations ensuring all documents are published accurately and in a timely manner. The role provides leadership to the editorial team and supports strategic development of content acquisition. The Person we Seek To be considered for this position, applicants must have: A degree from a relevant discipline; and Three (3) years of relevant experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields.
