About the role

This role supports the Sales & Marketing team at the Denarau property, managing the sales process from document preparation to client communication and revenue optimization. The Sales Coordinator handles administrative duties, prepares sales materials, and serves as a key point of contact for clients and guests. The position combines office coordination with guest-facing responsibilities to maintain brand loyalty and maximize revenue while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying.
• Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process, such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
• Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
• Gather materials and assemble information packages including brochures and promotional materials.
• Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information such as commissions, leads, and third-party data in sales software.
• Answer guest questions about property facilities and services, including hours of operation, rates, room types, packages, promotions, and special events.
• Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.

• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Capacity to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
