About the role
As a Porter (Guest Experience Expert) at Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay, you will deliver a wide range of services that guide guests through their entire stay, making every transaction feel like part of a memorable experience. You will process operational needs, address guest requests, complete reports, and share highlights of the local area while maintaining professional standards and protecting company assets. This role requires you to be on your feet, moving around the resort and taking a hands-on approach to work, including lifting and carrying objects up to 10 pounds. Guest Experience Experts are empowered to move about their space and take initiative to do what needs to be done.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of services that guide guests through their entire stay
- Process operational needs and address guest requests promptly
- Complete reports and documentation as required
- Share highlights of the local area with guests
- Create a safe workplace and follow company policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
- Uphold quality standards and ensure professional uniform, appearance, and communications
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
About the successful candidate
- Fiji Citizen (position open to Fiji Citizens only)
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Confident, innovative, genuine, and intuitive approach to hospitality
