About the role

This Weddings & Events Planner role is based at the Kimaya Fiji Head Office in Votualevu, Nadi, joining a growing wedding and events team. The successful candidate will manage the full planning cycle for weddings, receptions and events, from proposals and itineraries to on-the-day logistics. The role also carries sales targets, revenue reconciliation with Accounts, and coordination with suppliers and vendors on décor. Flexible hours are required, along with sensitivity to different religious practices when planning ceremonies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage event logistics, orders, running sheets and group reports.
• Plan and coordinate wedding functions, receptions and events, including proposals, itineraries, timelines and schedules.
• Achieve sales targets and reconcile sales revenue with Accounts.
• Work flexible hours, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail and sensitivity to different religious practices.
• Provide creative décor ideas and liaise with suppliers and vendors.

About the successful candidate

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• A tertiary qualification in Weddings and Events, Food and Beverage or a related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Creative, energetic and target-driven with an eye for current colours, palettes and design trends.
• At least three years' experience in a similar role.
• A team player with a clean police clearance.
• A driver's license is an advantage.
