British American Tobacco Solomon Islands has an exciting opportunity for a Technician in Fiji (1-year contract) This role is responsible for operating and maintaining assigned production equipment to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets. The person applies Integrated Work Systems (IWS) and Daily Management Systems (DMS) principles to drive equipment reliability, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include: • Operate assigned equipment and flow to work as needed to meet business requirements, while supporting daily production activities and maintenance priorities in accordance with established processes and standards. • Perform and coordinate daily, weekly, and major maintenance activities, support equipment troubleshooting, identify abnormalities, and follow up on root cause actions to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime. • Execute and support planned equipment changeovers and maintenance activities in line with Standard Work Practices and target times, while maintaining and ensuring compliance with equipment and operational standards.
