British American Tobacco (BAT) has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician in Fiji (1-year contract). The Electrical technician will be responsible for ensuring all electrical components in machinery at PMD and SMD are maintained ensuring the safe and efficient production and adhering to quality and safety standards. This role is accountable for maintaining continuous improvement in production processes and rigorous utilization of IWS from electrical perspective. This role is key in providing process and/or technical expertise within day-to-day operations. The role is accountable to all production Matrix. 95% of individual’s time will be spent on the operating Floor working with the team Your key responsibilities will include: Business Accountabilities • Consistently follow all electrical safety procedures, including LOTOTO, risk assessments, and compliance with regulatory standards. • Proactively identify, report, and eliminate hazards, unsafe behaviors, or near-misses to maintain a safe working environment. • Maintain a clean, organized and safe electrical work areas, ensuring panels, tools, and equipment are kept in audit-ready condition.
