British American Tobacco Fiji has an exciting opportunity for a Pack Technician in Suva, Fiji As a Packing Technician, you will play a meaningful role in maintaining the smooth functioning of our packing machinery and systems. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class team that values continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a collaborative spirit. Your technical expertise will help drive our success as we strive to set industry benchmarks. Your key responsibilities will include: • Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and value-driven performance within the Production Technical team. • Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans aligned with machine care and reliability programs, ensuring successful vertical start-up after maintenance activities. • Ensure effective maintenance planning to maintain equipment at base condition, minimizing process failures, downtime, and breakdowns. • Support and participate in relevant Daily Management Systems (DMS) on the SMD production floor • Develop technical training materials (e.g., One-Point Lessons), provide team capability building, and continuously upskill to operate and maintain production technologies.
