About the role
This role leads the Human Resources, Training and Development function at Post Fiji, vacancy reference 49/26. The Manager will develop and implement HR and training strategies aligned with the company's corporate objectives, while providing strategic HR advice to the CEO and leadership team. The position leads the Training and Development Strategy, including annual Training Needs Analysis, in-house and external training programmes, and management of the training budget. It also involves preparing monthly HR reports for the Board, supporting health, safety and wellbeing initiatives, and ensuring NPTC requirements relating to Grants and Levies are met. The Manager will provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to the HR team and manage people-related risks and stakeholder relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR and Training strategies aligned with Post Fiji's corporate objectives
- Provide strategic HR advice and guidance to the CEO and leadership team
- Lead key HR functions and ensure all HR processes and practices align with company HR policies
- Lead development and implementation of the Company's Training and Development Strategy
- Develop, manage and maintain HR processes and services that are fair, equitable and legally compliant
- Conduct annual Training Needs Analysis to identify employee skill gaps and training requirements
- Develop and facilitate in-house and external training programmes and manage the training budget
- Review and strengthen employee induction programmes and monitor training outcomes against targets
About the successful candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent field
- Postgraduate qualification is desirable
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior HR position or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
- Proven ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision, delivering timely results
- Results-driven leader with proven management skills and forward thinking approach
- Track record of building and managing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders
- Demonstrated success in HR leadership within a complex, customer-focused commercial environment, with strong commercial acumen managing business change
