About the role
This role sits within Post Fiji's risk and governance function, with responsibility for coordinating and maintaining the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Corporate Risk Management Policy, and Enterprise Risk Register. The Analyst facilitates risk assessments, develops Key Risk Indicators, and prepares quarterly reports for Executive Management and the Board. The position also maintains the Compliance Obligations Register and conducts compliance reviews across business units, covering areas such as postal processing, parcel/EMS operations, retail cash handling, financial services, fleet logistics, and ICT. It supports corporate governance by maintaining the Corporate Policy register, reviewing policies and procedures, and assisting Board subcommittees. The role also covers fraud risk management, business continuity coordination, and delivering risk-related training and awareness across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Corporate Risk Management Policy, and Enterprise Risk Register
- Facilitate risk assessments, develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and prepare quarterly reports for Executive Management and the Board
- Maintain the Compliance Obligations Register, conduct compliance reviews across all business units, and monitor adherence to legislation and policies
- Identify and evaluate risks relating to Post Fiji's operational environment, including postal processing, parcel/EMS operations, retail cash handling, financial services, fleet logistics, and ICT
- Support corporate governance by maintaining the Corporate Policy register, reviewing policies and departmental procedures, implementing Board decisions on risk, and assisting Board subcommittees
- Review, evaluate, monitor and strengthen internal controls
- Maintain fraud risk management and coordinate, maintain, and monitor the Business Continuity Programme
- Prepare risk reports and analytics, and develop and deliver risk training and awareness programmes across the organisation
About the successful candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, Commerce, Governance or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or administrative roles
- Demonstrated understanding of compliance requirements, internal controls, and governance frameworks
- Experience working with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and related regulations is desirable
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills in documentation and report writing
- Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Professional certifications such as ISO 31000, CIA, CFE, GRC, or AML/CFT are desirable
