Employer FAQ
Common questions about posting and sponsoring jobs in Fiji.
- How do I post a job in Fiji on FijiCareers?
- Create a free employer account on this page, then post a new role or boost a listing we already picked up from your public careers page. Choose the category that fits the role (for example Hospitality Jobs in Fiji or Jobs in Suva). When you are ready for top placement, confirm the category and pay Solo, or use a Momentum or Dominate credit.
- Where does a sponsored job show in search?
- At the top of the results. Sponsored listings lead the list (newest posted first when more than one is live), then organic results in normal order. New organic posts never jump above an active sponsorship.
- Do I pay to be listed at all?
- No. Vacancies in Fiji from your public careers page can already appear in category results without sponsorship. You pay only for a sponsored job post at the top of one category for 30 days, not for a basic listing.
- What are Solo, Momentum, and Dominate?
- Solo is FJD 90 for one sponsored job post (you can buy up to 44 Solos). Momentum is FJD 4,000 for 50 posts (FJD 80 each, use within 12 months). Dominate is FJD 7,000 for 100 posts (FJD 70 each, use within 12 months). Custom is for more than 100 posts a year. Contact sales for Custom.
- How does payment work?
- Pay by card through Stripe Checkout. Card charges are processed for HiveRef Pty Ltd, the SaaS company FijiCareers trades under. Your sponsored post or package credits activate when payment succeeds. You do not need a card to create an employer account.
- Where do candidates apply?
- Your choice when you post. Collect applications on FijiCareers, or send candidates to your careers page or online form. For external apply links, we track outbound clicks so you can see interest from FijiCareers search.
- Can FijiCareers work as a simple ATS?
- Yes, if your company does not already have an applicant tracking system. When you post a job on FijiCareers, you can collect applications here and review them in your employer dashboard instead of only linking out.
- When does my 30-day sponsored post start?
- After Stripe confirms payment, or when a package credit is applied. The 30 days count from activation, not from the day you draft the role.
