About the role
This Storeman Supply role is responsible for the storage and handling of aircraft parts and tooling in Nadi, following company and airline procedures. The storeman ensures serviceable and certified tooling is readily available for engineering use, and helps keep stock items replenished on time. The role also covers general store keeping duties, associated clerical work, and refuelling of vehicles and ground handling equipment as needed. The position carries responsibility for the safety, security and efficiency of store operations, in line with customer airline and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure aircraft parts and tooling are stored in accordance with company and airline procedures.
- Ensure serviceable and current certified tooling is readily available for engineering use at all times.
- Assist to ensure all stock items are replenished in good time.
- Perform store keeping functions and associated clerical work.
- Maintain the stores area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Refuel vehicles and ground handling equipment as necessary and perform other stores duties as required.
- Ensure the safety, security and efficiency of store operations and compliance with customer airline and relevant authority requirements.
About the successful candidate
- A relevant certificate level qualification with three (3) years related experience, OR Year 12 Pass or equivalent with five (5) years experience in Stores or Warehousing field.
- A Certificate IV in Aircraft Maintenance or Automotive trade certificate and background is preferred.
- Must hold a valid LTA full Group 2 driving license (Manual) with a clean record.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package would be an advantage.
