About the role
This is a Lecturer position (Ref: AC 119/26) within the Department of Epidemiology & Environmental Health, part of the College of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences. The Lecturer is expected to teach proficiently at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level in their subject area. The role is research-active, with the Lecturer beginning to publish work in peer-reviewed journals. The Lecturer also contributes to the wider work of the Department, including taking on administrative roles that help the Department function.
Key responsibilities
- Teach proficiently at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level in the relevant subject area.
- Undertake research and work towards publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Take on administrative roles that assist the Department to function.
- Contribute to the overall work of the Department of Epidemiology & Environmental Health.
About the successful candidate
- Hold a Master's degree in the relevant field (FQF level 9).
- Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching/work experience, OR
- Be research-active with evidence of work published in peer-reviewed journals.
- Be qualified to teach proficiently at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
