About the role
The Senior TVET Officer works as part of a team of technical, administrative, and academic colleagues to support the department's services and ensure the smooth and efficient flow of the University's business and operations, in consultation with the Manager/Director. This is a supervisory position: the incumbent is expected to manage and supervise other department staff and oversee the day-to-day operations of the department. The role is based at the Robertson Centre under reference AD 156/26.

About the successful candidate
- Bachelor's degree in TVET Education, Engineering or Science
- At least five (5) years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience in TVET curriculum development, programme delivery and competency-based training and assessment
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects, develop proposals and budgets, engage with industry and community stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in rural, remote and maritime environments
- Some experience working with professional associations, accreditation bodies, donor-funded projects, and regional or international TVET networks
