About the role

This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) rather than a fixed vacancy, allowing job seekers to register interest in Research Assistant work that arises on an as-needed basis. The specific department will depend on the request from the Principal Investigator running a given project, and the role sits within the Division of Human Resources for administrative purposes. The Research Assistant reports to the Principal Investigator of the respective project and carries out duties as outlined in the terms of reference for that specific project.

Key responsibilities

• Perform research assistant duties as per the terms of reference for the specific project assigned
• Report to the Principal Investigator of the respective project
• Carry out tasks based on the request and requirements of the Principal Investigator
• Support project work on an as-needed basis under the Division of Human Resources

About the successful candidate

• Essential: Bachelor's degree, or qualifications appropriate to the nature of the work
• Desirable: Some research experience will be an added advantage
• Must sign a cover letter concluding with a declaration of clean police record and fitness to work
