About the role
This Expression of Interest is for Invigilator positions based across various FNU campuses, sitting within the Compliance and Assessment department under the Office of the Registrar. Invigilators are appointed to maintain the proper conduct of examinations in accordance with exam regulations and university policy. The role involves supervising examination candidates to prevent cheating and ensuring exams are carried out according to Examination and University policy. Positions require flexibility to work across different campuses and exam sessions.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain proper conduct of examinations in accordance with exam regulations.
- Supervise examination candidates to prevent cheating during exams.
- Ensure exams are carried out according to Examination policy and University policy.
- Handle large and diverse groups of examination candidates effectively.
- Deal with challenging circumstances that may arise during examinations.
- Work flexible hours as required by the examination schedule.
About the successful candidate
- Must have at least passed FSLC or an equivalent higher examination.
- Must not be a current staff member or student of FNU.
- Ability to communicate effectively and handle large, diverse groups of people.
- Must be a team worker, punctual, attentive, and vigilant at all times.
- Experience in exam supervision in the education sector is a distinct advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Must sign a cover letter declaring a clean police record and fitness to work.
