About the role

This is an expression of interest for Invigilator positions based across FNU campuses, sitting within the Compliance and Assessment department under the Office of the Registrar. Invigilators are appointed to maintain the proper conduct of examinations in accordance with exam regulations and university policy. The role involves supervising examination candidates to prevent cheating and ensuring exams run according to established procedures. Appointments are made on an as-needed basis to support the examination process across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise examination candidates to maintain proper conduct during exams
• Prevent cheating and ensure integrity of the examination process
• Ensure exams are carried out according to Examination policy and University policy
• Maintain vigilance and attentiveness throughout examination sessions
• Handle large and diverse groups of candidates effectively
• Communicate effectively and manage challenging circumstances during exams
• Work flexible hours as required across FNU campuses

About the successful candidate

• Must have at least passed FSLC or an equivalent higher examination
• Must not be a current staff member or student of FNU
• Ability to communicate effectively and handle challenging circumstances
• Ability to effectively manage large and diverse groups of people
• Team player who is punctual, attentive, and vigilant at all times
• Experience in exam supervision in the education sector is a distinct advantage
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Must sign a cover letter declaring a clean police record and fitness to work
