About the role
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the housekeeping department at a Hilton hotel, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and aesthetic upkeep throughout the property. It involves strategic planning, staff management, and maintaining a seamless operation to enhance guest satisfaction. The Senior Supervisor Housekeeping directs system management, budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, and policy implementation for the department. The role also cultivates a high-performing team through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs, while ensuring adherence to health and safety standards for chemicals and cleaning supplies.
Key responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of housekeeping operations, including system management, budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, and policy implementation
- Oversee and uphold cleanliness, service, and product quality standards in guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and meeting areas
- Partner with Property Operations and other departments on rehabilitation and capital improvement projects to enhance facilities
- Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, particularly related to proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies
About the successful candidate
- Extensive experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a 5-star hotel
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
