About the role
As Landscaping Manager, you will ensure the efficient and safe operation of all plant and equipment across the property and are responsible for security, fire prevention, and safety issues. The role covers managing property operations to boost productivity and reduce costs, monitoring staffing levels, and optimising team utilisation including overtime and contractor use. You will oversee trouble reports and general maintenance, implement preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical and electrical equipment, and supervise contractors for compliance and safety standards. The role also involves managing service contracts, supporting budget planning, maintaining stock levels and the storeroom, and contributing to long-term capital planning and infrastructure forecasting. You will apply current technology, ensure regulatory compliance with safety and energy directives, and recruit, train, and evaluate engineering staff while enforcing security and emergency protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Manage property operations to boost productivity and reduce costs
- Monitor staffing levels, optimise team utilisation, and manage overtime/contractor use
- Oversee trouble reports and general maintenance to maintain high facility standards
- Implement and supervise scheduled preventive maintenance for all M&E equipment
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance and testing activities
- Manage service contracts and support budget planning
- Supervise contractors for compliance and safety standards
- Prepare reports, liaise with authorities, and lead safety/environmental meetings
