About the role

The IT Assistant provides comprehensive IT support across the hotel, keeping technology infrastructure, IT systems, and cellular services running in compliance with Hilton Technology Network (HTN) standards. The role covers maintaining and managing inventory of technology equipment, hardware, software, and related assets, alongside installing and setting up A/V, communication, networking, and IT equipment in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and work areas. It also involves documenting completed repairs, routine maintenance, and special service requests, and flagging issues that need further attention.

Key responsibilities

• Promptly address technology equipment and connectivity service requests to ensure smooth operation of technology infrastructure, IT systems, and cellular services in compliance with HTN standards
• Maintain and manage inventory of technology equipment, hardware, software, and related assets
• Install, set up, and break down A/V, communication, networking, and IT equipment in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and hotel work areas
• Offer technical support and training for hardware and software issues
• Process equipment and service billing for guests, address internal/external concerns, and authorize necessary billing adjustments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Record completed repairs, routine maintenance, and special service requests for all technology equipment and flag any issues requiring further attention

About the successful candidate

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft
• Proven experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of network and system administration, cybersecurity, and database management
• A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
• Ability to act with integrity, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency
