About the role
The Outlet Manager oversees daily restaurant operations at Hilton Fiji in Suva, ensuring smooth and efficient service that meets brand standards. The role includes developing menus that create unique dining experiences for guests. The manager supervises, trains, and motivates outlet staff, manages guest feedback and service issues, and monitors inventory, ordering, and costs to support profitability. The position also supports sales and revenue initiatives, ensures compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and coordinates with kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments for seamless service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily outlet operations to ensure smooth service and adherence to brand standards
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high performance
- Ensure personalized service, handle guest feedback, and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction
- Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and control costs to optimize profitability
- Drive upselling initiatives, monitor sales performance, and support revenue targets
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all outlet areas
- Collaborate with kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments for seamless service delivery
- Ensure that all food safety standards are met
About the successful candidate
- Proven experience as an Outlet Manager or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel, or 2-3 years as an Assistant Manager
- At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Outlet Manager (for Assistant Manager candidates)
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus
- Excellent communication, grooming, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Friendly, professional, and guest-focused
- Able to work flexible shifts
