About the role
This Food & Beverage GSA role covers front-of-house service support duties in the resort's food and beverage outlets. The position is responsible for setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas, and for closing duties such as storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment, restocking, and completing daily cleaning checklists. The role requires close attention to cleanliness standards, including inspecting china, glass, and silverware before use, and following clean-as-you-go practices throughout shifts. Guest interaction is a key part of the job, including welcoming guests, using professional communication, and answering telephones with proper etiquette. The role also involves physical tasks such as standing or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving over varied surfaces including stairs and ramps.
Key responsibilities
- Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment and areas, restocking, and finishing the daily cleaning checklist.
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
- Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Follow company safety and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions to a manager, and complete required safety training.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in reaching common goals.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing or walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving over uneven or sloping surfaces.

- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- No prior related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
- Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
- Good communication skills, using clear and professional language with guests and colleagues.
