About the role
The Stores Guest Service Agent receives and stages merchandise by department, marks it for placement, and delivers it to the correct department within the resort. The role covers stacking received merchandise on pallets or carts, completing requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notifying a manager or supervisor of low stock levels. It also involves receiving deliveries, storing perishables correctly, rotating stock, and inspecting deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality. The agent refuses damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items and follows food safety and handling procedures across all food-related areas. Cleaning and sanitizing duties include refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains, along with removing empty pallets, cardboard, and trash to proper storage areas. Physical demands include standing, sitting, or walking for a full shift, moving items up to 50 pounds, and navigating narrow, sloped, or uneven spaces including stairs and ramps.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark it appropriately, and deliver it to the correct department
- Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts
- Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies and notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels
- Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock
- Inspect deliveries and date times to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality; refuse damaged or incorrect items
- Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas
- Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains; remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications

- Able to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, including stairs and ramps
- Maintains a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, and protects confidentiality of proprietary information
