About the role
The Spa Guest Service Attendant delivers professional, relaxing, and therapeutic massage treatments that reflect the wellness philosophy and quality standards of Marriott International and Sheraton Resort & Spa, Tokoriki Island. The role provides guests with spa orientation, explains treatments and facilities, and ensures guests feel comfortable before, during, and after services. Treatments are carried out according to approved spa protocols, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines, with attention to guest preferences, comfort, privacy, and feedback. Beyond treatments, the role maintains the cleanliness and presentation of treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas, and manages linens and supplies. It also supports daily spa operations by monitoring schedules, preparing treatment areas, securing equipment, and keeping supplies stocked. This is an island-based position requiring a rostered stay-on-island work schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver professional, relaxing, and therapeutic massage treatments to guests
- Provide spa orientation and explain treatments and facilities to guests
- Follow approved spa protocols, hygiene standards, and safety guidelines during treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas
- Manage linens and supplies and follow sanitation and operational procedures
- Monitor schedules, prepare treatment areas, and secure equipment
- Ensure supplies are stocked and ready for service
- Protect guest confidentiality and company assets while working collaboratively with the spa and resort team
About the successful candidate
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No related work experience required
- No supervisory experience required
- No license or certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a spa, salon, or beauty therapy environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of skincare, waxing techniques, and professional beauty products preferred
- Excellent consultation and communication skills with the ability to build guest trust
- Must have legal working rights in Fiji and be able to work a rostered stay-on-island schedule
