About the role
The Receiving Guest Service Agent manages food inventory operations, financial tracking, and delivery processes for the resort. The role covers calculating inventory figures, maintaining organized records, posting invoices, and conducting audits to determine inventory levels and needs. It also involves receiving and processing deliveries, verifying shipments against invoices, and managing vendor-related documentation. The agent supports the resort's operational standards through accurate record-keeping and adherence to food safety and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate figures for food inventories, orders, and costs
- Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly
- Post invoices using computer programs
- Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs
- Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies; notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels
- Verify and track received inventory; reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy
- Receive, unload, and process deliveries; refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items
- Adhere to food safety and handling policies; monitor PAR levels for all food items
About the successful candidate
- Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
- Proficiency with computer systems and point of sale systems
- Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 pounds
- Clear and professional communication skills; ability to prepare and review written documents accurately
- Positive working relationships and team collaboration mindset
- Working rights in Fiji required
