About the role
The Recruitment & Engagement Officer joins the People & Culture Department and plays a key role in attracting, recruiting, and retaining talent across the Group's properties. The role works closely with hiring managers and departmental leaders to manage recruitment activities, coordinate onboarding, and contribute to programs that enhance the employee experience. It also supports employee engagement initiatives aimed at fostering a positive, high-performing workplace culture, including recognition programs, internal communications, and staff events.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising vacancies
- Screen applications and schedule interviews
- Conduct reference checks
- Prepare employment documentation
- Support induction and onboarding programs
- Assist with employee engagement activities and recognition programs
- Contribute to internal communications and staff events
- Support initiatives to strengthen employee satisfaction, wellbeing, and retention
About the successful candidate
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to build positive relationships with employees and stakeholders at all levels
- Previous experience in recruitment, human resources, talent acquisition, or employee engagement within a fast-paced environment will be highly regarded
