About the company

UN Jobnet Fiji lists opportunities across the United Nations system in Fiji, including UN Resident Coordinator Office (RCO) assignments. The United Nations in the Pacific is formulating the UNSDCF 2028-2032 as the principal strategic framework for collective UN support to 14 Pacific Island Countries and Territories covered by the Fiji, Micronesia and Samoa Multi-Country Offices.

About the role

This Lead Consultant role drives the results architecture, strategic coherence and final consolidation of the UNSDCF 2028-2032, delivering a zero draft Results Matrix with outcomes, outputs, SDG-aligned indicators, baselines, targets and means of verification, subject to a maximum of five revisions through finalization. The consultant works under the overall guidance of the Heads of the RCOs in Fiji, Micronesia and Samoa, with the contract managed by the Fiji RCO, and serves as the primary focal point for all strategic, substantive and relationship management matters on the assignment. The role involves reviewing the UNCT Vision Paper, Strategic Prioritization Workshop outcomes and Pacific Common Analysis, and coordinating closely with a Junior Consultant and the DMEG to ensure the results framework is technically robust and responsive to country-level priorities. The consultant also leads validation with governments, UNCTs and regional stakeholders, oversees consolidation of feedback, and finalizes the UNSDCF narrative and an executive presentation. The assignment runs from 1 Nov 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 and is based remotely.
