About the role
The Administrative Associate (G-6) sits within the Pacific Multi-Country Office in Suva and works under the supervision and guidance of a supervisor. The role executes a broad variety of procedural and specialised complex administrative tasks for its section, requiring in-depth knowledge of UNICEF's administrative procedures, processes and policies. Core areas of work include budget monitoring, planning and project management support, procurement, and communication and workflow coordination. The role also covers calendar, meetings and correspondence management, events and logistics, travel arrangements, invoice processing, and supplies and equipment administration. This position is open only to nationals of Fiji.

About the successful candidate
- Completion of secondary education is required; professional and/or university courses related to the field of work are highly desirable.
- A minimum of six years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical work experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously is required.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of another official UN language or a local language is an asset.
- Experience working with an international organisation or UN agency is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of administrative policies and procedures, and excellent organisational and coordination skills, are an advantage.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, VISION or Fiori is highly desirable, and experience supporting regional or multi-country operations is an asset.
