About the role
This Retail Supervisor role is based across the Ba, Lautoka, Suva and Nakasi outlets and involves growing and managing the central market for the branch. The supervisor welcomes customers, ascertains their needs and completes sales, while keeping the store fully stocked and maintaining strong visual merchandising standards. The role works with the operations manager to develop sales strategies and achieve monthly sales targets, and coordinates with the branch manager on staff performance feedback. It also involves motivating and organising branch staff to meet productivity targets and maintaining satisfactory stock levels for timely client delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome customers, ascertain their needs and wants, and successfully complete sales.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards, and ensure the store is fully stocked.
- Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements, and assist the branch in marketing plans.
- Achieve monthly sales targets by developing effective sales strategies with the operations manager.
- Maintain the physical condition of the branch by planning good practical layouts.
- Maintain satisfactory stock levels to ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within branch staff to meet productivity targets.
- Monitor and provide regular feedback to branch employees on their performance with the branch manager.
About the successful candidate
- Fijian citizen.
- Highly organised, motivated and confident.
- Prior experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous.
- Effective communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Outgoing personality with utmost professionalism.
- Effective communication skills in English, with ability to communicate in a vernacular language desirable.
- Valid group 2 driver's license with a clean driving record.
