About the role
The Graduate Trainee – Non-Aeronautical role supports accurate and timely billing and reporting for non-aeronautical services across the company's 2 international and 13 domestic airports. The trainee assists the Senior Finance Officer – Non-Aeronautical and the Finance Officer – Debtors with debt collection, customer queries, and financial analysis. Duties span billing and invoice management, revenue reporting, tenant relations, and debt recovery, giving the trainee exposure to multiple finance functions within the non-aeronautical revenue area.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Finance Officer – Aeronautical with billing processes for non-aeronautical services, ensuring accurate and timely invoice generation and handling billing disputes or discrepancies
- Assist the Senior Finance Officer – Non-Aeronautical in accurate and timely revenue reporting, monitoring and tracking revenue from non-aeronautical sources, and preparing regular reports for senior management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, track and analyze performance of non-aeronautical revenue streams, and monitor retail and concession operations for compliance
- Efficiently manage and recover overdue payments through proactive communication, negotiation, and follow-up with debtors
- Produce comprehensive reports on the status of outstanding debts and perform detailed analysis to inform recovery strategies and management decisions
- Assist the Senior Finance Officer – Non-Aeronautical and the Finance Officer – Debtors in debt collection and customer queries, and support financial analysis
About the successful candidate
- A Degree level qualification in Accounting/Finance
- 1 year's work experience in a related field would be an advantage
