Key responsibilities
- Needs Assessment: Engage with customers to understand their IT Infrastructure requirements, business goals, and potential challenges, ensuring that proposed solutions align with their long-term objectives.
- Solution Design and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive IT infrastructure blueprints for on-premises and cloud-based systems, ensuring that they are technically feasible, cost-effective, and scalable.
- Integration Planning: Ensure that the proposed solutions can be seamlessly integrated into the customer’s existing systems and processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure that the proposed designs are implementable and supported by the organization.
- Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive and offers state-of-the-art solutions.
- Technical supervision-supervise, guide and coach team of ICT solutions Engineers who provides SLA support and system implementation support to ICT Customers.
- Proof of Concept Development: Create and demonstrate prototypes or mock-ups of proposed solutions to illustrate feasibility and potential benefits to customers.
- Documentation: Produce detailed technical documentation for both internal teams and customers, ensuring clarity in implementation and maintenance.
About the successful candidate
- Education: Bachelor in Network & Security Engineering, Computing Science, Information Systems, Mathematics.
- Industry Experience: Experience between 3 to 5 years working in the ICT sector implementing ICT and cybersecurity solutions, ideally in a customer-facing role.
- Design and Implementation: Hands-on experience in designing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions for diverse business needs.
- Vendor Management: Experience in evaluating, selecting, and managing vendors and partners for infrastructure components or services.
- Migration Projects: Experience in migrating systems, be it from on-premises to the cloud or between cloud providers.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: History of working with teams outside of IT, like finance or operations, ensuring IT strategies align with broader business objectives.
- Certifications: While not always mandatory, certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Cisco's CCDA can validate an architect's expertise and Benefits
