About the role

The Finance Officer-Revenue provides support across financial management functions including invoicing, retail operations management, month-end account closure, reconciliation, reporting, and customer/vendor account reconciliation. The officer monitors all revenue lines of Telecom Fiji, highlighting trends and profitability to management, and ensures revenues are recorded according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) requirements. The role spans retail operations, wholesale invoicing (including LTE backhaul, IPVPN, colocation, and managed print services), and support to the Financial Analyst on revenue and profitability reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Retail operations management - price changes in POS system, handling retail queries, passing adjustments, user access control.
  • Perform monthly stock take for all central retail outlets and compile variance report for Management approval/review.
  • Daily monitoring of TFL shop Sales, Price changes, stock transfers, sales reversal, internal & external salary deductions, and user access control.
  • Closing of Navision sales done through Point of Sales, closing all related customer receipting, processing of credit notes for sales returns and processing refunds.
  • Process Brother Wholesale and Managed Print Services (MPS) monthly invoices, ensuring rates match contract terms and resolving customer issues.
  • Process Prepaid invoices for consignment customers and Wholesale distributors, and maintain a register tracking purchase and payment history for Management reporting.
  • Process Wholesale invoices monthly for LTE backhaul links, IPVPN links, colocation agreements, office space, power usage, and road access charges, ensuring rates match contracts or regulatory authorizations.
  • Assess stock levels for Telecom retail outlets, highlight shortages, and request/load soft PINs in Navision for retail sales including Telecom recharges, Telecard, and MVNO.

About the successful candidate

  • Degree in Accounting, Financial Management or a relevant field from a recognized University or Tertiary Institute.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Member of the Fiji Institute of Accounts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to effectively represent TFL to all levels of an organization, including the executive level.
  • Winning attitude, good judgment, and a strong team player with integrity and ethics.
  • Industry contacts and the ability to hit the ground running.
