About the role
This Cyber Security Executive role sits within the IT Operations Team at the Digicel Khalsa Office, reporting to the Head of Information Technology. The role supports and strengthens the organization's cyber security posture through security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, security controls, compliance, and cyber awareness. It works closely with the Group SOC, Cyber uplift team, IT Infrastructure, Applications, and Network teams to protect systems, endpoints, identities and data. The position also provides regular security updates and recommendations to the Regional Head of IT.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and support security platforms including CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, OneLogin, Zscaler, Intune, Lookout MDM, Patch Management, Entra and other security tools
- Monitor security alerts, identify potential threats and coordinate remediation
- Maintain security configurations and controls in line with organizational policies
- Investigate and respond to security incidents raised by the Group SOC, performing triage, analysis, containment, remediation and root-cause analysis
- Support vulnerability scanning, assessment and remediation, and monitor security patch compliance across endpoints and servers
- Support security of Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Entra ID and OneLogin environments, including MFA, privileged access and user access reviews
- Conduct periodic security reviews, audits and compliance checks, and maintain security documentation and risk/action registers
- Apply security knowledge across Windows, AD, servers, networking, cloud, virtualisation and Microsoft 365 environments, working with infrastructure teams on system hardening
About the successful candidate
- Degree/Diploma or professional qualification in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Cyber Security, IT Security or Security Operations
- Practical experience with enterprise security tools and security operations
- Good understanding of endpoint security, identity & access management, vulnerability management, incident response and cloud security
- Working knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Entra ID and networking
- Experience with security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing is desirable
