About the role
This Area Manager role sits within the Sales Consumer Team based at the Nabua office, reporting to the Regional Consumer Sales Manager. The position owns management of the distribution channel of resellers and dealers, with distribution partner management as a key component. It requires working closely with the Consumer Sales Leadership Team and Marketing team at a fast pace to complete tasks and motivate others. The role also involves reviewing sales trends and customer insights, developing area-targeted sales roll-out plans, and coordinating target allocation across channels. It is expected to drive innovation and team development to unlock sales potential, and to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to shape and deliver Consumer Segment strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, develop and manage distribution channel of resellers and dealers.
- Manage distribution partners to ensure robust market servicing as agreed.
- Drive and achieve Area Sales targets for all products and services.
- Consistently grow the channel to drive business growth.
- Proactively review sales trends and customer insights with the Consumer Sales Leadership Team to improve Sales Field & Customer Experience.
- Develop area-targeted sales roll-out plans and coordinate allocation of approved targets to channels.
- Drive innovation and team development initiatives to unlock team sales potential.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to shape and deliver Consumer Segment strategies.
About the successful candidate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
- Sound knowledge of B2B and B2C sales processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with mobile financial services platforms is a bonus.
