About the role
This role sits within GEM IT Solutions' Suva team as an IT End User Computing Support Technician, handling hands-on device and workstation support. The technician provisions computers, deploys hardware, and sets up workstations and desks for staff. They work closely with internal Support Specialists to deliver end-user support and also provide support for conferencing solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Stay tech-savvy with the latest gadgets, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers.
- Provision computers and deploy hardware, including workstation and desk setups.
- Work closely with internal Support Specialists to provide end-user support.
- Support conferencing solutions.
About the successful candidate
- Minimum Diploma in IT or equivalent; Industry certification in A+, ITIL4, and M365 would be an advantage.
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in an L1 and L2 IT Support role.
- Strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer support skills.
- Experience with copier/printer repairs is an added advantage.
- Must be available full-time; no part-time studies allowed.
