About the role
This role is for a General Signage Staff member who helps create and present high-quality signs for customers. The position is hands-on, involving production, assembly, and installation of signage, working alongside the design and installation team. Occasional outdoor and on-site work is required, along with travel to various job sites. The employer offers competitive pay and benefits, on-the-job training, and a supportive work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the production, assembly, and installation of signage
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely
- Ensure quality control and attention to detail in every project
- Work collaboratively with the design and installation team
About the successful candidate
- Sound knowledge of signage materials and tools
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work on-site and occasionally outdoors
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- 2 years' experience in sign-making or a related field is highly desirable
- Experience with fabrication tools and machinery, including printers and cutters
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of local and national regulations related to signage; ability to read blueprints and schematics
