About the role
This Applications Developer role covers the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The position supports digital financial service solutions, drawing on knowledge of banking, financial services, accounting, or FinTech operations. The developer builds APIs for data exchange and functionality, and works with Microsoft Azure virtual machines and Application Gateway for secure application delivery, while monitoring Azure resources for cost-effectiveness and performance. The role also involves maintaining documentation such as SOPs, DOPs, process notes, and user guides for M-PAiSA and related products, and collaborating with product management, design, quality assurance, and operations teams.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Leverage knowledge and experience in banking, financial services, accounting, or FinTech operations to support the development, integration, and optimization of digital financial service solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, quality assurance, and operations
- Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and industry guidelines to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
- Develop APIs for various projects to facilitate data exchange and functionality
- Utilize Microsoft Azure virtual machines and Application Gateway for specific application requirements and secure delivery
- Monitor and optimize Azure resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal performance
- Document, review and update SOPs, DOPs, process notes and user guides for M-PAiSA and related products
