About

AFD (Agence Française de Développement / French Development Agency) is a French public development finance institution with a network of 85 agencies worldwide. Its Ocean Pacific Regional Department (DROP) covers AFD activities across French overseas territories and 15 Pacific island states, including a Suva office opened in February 2024. AFD funds development projects through loans, guarantees and grants, working alongside local and international partners.
